2026 New Members:
A £10 joining fee applies in the first year. If your membership lapses, the joining fee becomes payable again. No further joining fee is payable if you renew annually.
2027 Membership Prices – Advance Notice
The following membership prices will apply for the 2027 membership year.

Please do not attempt to purchase a 2027 membership using the current 2026 application forms.

Important Membership Information
Membership year:
All memberships run from 1st January to 31st December.
Membership category is determined by your age on 1st January.
Fishery Rules:
By joining or renewing, you agree to follow the Association’s
Fishery Rules.
Please make sure you understand the rules before fishing.
Fishing times:
Fishing is permitted from 5:00am–10:00pm.
Carlton on Trent and the River Rye are open from 7:00am.
Fish welfare:
Fish must not be killed or removed from any H&DAA fishery.
Please remember:
Gates must be left closed and secure, and no litter must be left on any fishery.
Serious breaches of Association rules may result in membership being withdrawn.
You must NOT kill or remove any fish.

Joining & Renewing
Apply Online – Recommended
Online applications and renewals are the quickest and easiest way to become a member of H&DAA.
You can fish immediately using your confirmation email as proof of membership for up to 30 days.
Applying online also reduces paperwork and administrative work for our volunteer officers.
If you renew online, you do not need to return a paper renewal form.

Every postal application creates additional work for our unpaid volunteers.
Cheques must be handled individually, recorded and physically taken to a bank.
With so many local bank branches now closed, this often means travelling into Hull city centre,
queuing at the bank and processing hundreds of cheques one by one.
Our Treasurer gives up their own personal time to do this, alongside their other Association responsibilities.
Every online application helps reduce this unnecessary workload.
