Tilery Lake

Tilery Lake has restrictions placed on its access due to operations at the adjoining factory and safety considerations.

This has resulted in limited bank space (south and east banks only available) and access and fishing is only available to Class A night permit holders during both the day and night. The fish shown below were all caught some years ago before otters were present. They simply demonstrate what the lake is capable of producing. To put it mildly it is a fishery that is now extremely challenging in many ways.

Under no circumstances must any member venture along the private road adjacent to the factory or enter the factory premises.

Permits required

A Class Night Permit holders only. No access to west bank or factory bank.

Stock / Size

Very low stocks of Bream, Tench, Roach, Perch, Carp, Pike and Eels / 20 Acres.

Situated at Broomfleet, East Yorkshire.

Access to Tilery is the same as Brickyard Pond via Broomfleet village, past Blue Lagoon and along the road adjacent to the canal. Cross over the bridge and turn immediately left where our access gate is situated. Do not drive towards the brick factory under any circumstances or use this private road. Once through our gate drive down the track between the trees for about 200 yards. Do not visit the lake on the right of the track (Danny Nalton’s Lake with the dead trees) unless you a member of his syndicate.

Ample parking available at Brickyard Pond. There is a large car park at the bottom of the access track. Please note that security gates are fitted to all vehicle access points at the Brickyard fisheries and are locked at all times. Undesirables have been known to visit the carp park in the past when the gate has been left open. A combination number will be supplied with your annual membership.
