Catch Of the Month Rules.Every month two tackle vouchers worth £25 each, one for the adult and one for the junior competition will be awarded. Hull Angling Centre only 575- The competition runs from October 1st to September 31st each year so everyone has a chance to get out on the bank and catch an entry or two remember the fish/catch must be caught in the month you are entering. Each month the best Adult and Junior catches will be selected from the entries submitted and published on this page. Publication will be after the delegates meeting each month, so for example the winner of Octobers competition will be published as soon as possible after the meeting on the in November. This will give the opportunity for catches made late in the month to be entered. The prize will not always be awarded to the biggest fish but will take into account all information given about the catch. All runners up will have a picture published in the Best of The Rest Gallery. All catch of the month winners will automatically be considered for the Specimen fish competition at the end of the year. Please note that the committees decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this competition. When sending an entry to the e:mail below please state your full name, age, the species caught (this could be a mixed bag or a single fish), weight, date and location of the catch, any additional info you want considered ie what made this catch unusual. All entries must also include a photograph(s) of your fish / catch and the name and address of an independent witness who saw the fish being weighed must also be included with all entries. December 2011Adult Competition |

Our Adult winner for December is Matt Ward with a 20lb 4oz Pike heres Matts report of the capture. The fish was caught at Motorway Pond on the 6th of December using a large Lamprey section fished in a deep area 15 yards off the island. The large lamprey head had been re- The excitement knowing I had a good fish I went in search of Steve and Colin who witnessed the weighing and Colin took the photographs. December 2011Junior Competition |

We had two junior entries this month both Pike one from Will Jubb and one from Harry Simpson. Due to our Adult winner kindly donating his £25 of vouchers back to the club both Junior entries are to receive £25 of vouchers Matt hopes that this will encourage more Junior anglers to enter the competition. |
Harry SimpsonHarry caught a 12 pound pike at Brandesburton 3 and 4 pond in very wet conditions. This is the third time Harry has featured on these pages. |

Will JubbYoung will Jubb has spent a fair bit of time Pike fishing since the beginning of the season and I have met him a couple of times on the bank and he is becoming a very dedicated and accomplished angler. Will entered three fish for December weighing 15lb, 14lb and 13lb. |

A note to all people entering the competition. Please provide as much information as possible about your catches i.e. area you were fishing, depth the bait you were using the weather conditions this information makes it much easier for the comittee to pick winneres for the competition i.e. you may have caught a very good fish but may lose out to another entry if you have not detailed your catch. Also the more information you provide makes it easier for me to produce a good report of your catch on these pages. |
