General Comments

During the summer, weed can be a problem, but sport can be had fishing the clearer areas.  In winter excellent pike fishing has been reported, but again, like Market Weighton Canal, the best results usually occur during periods of dry, mild weather.

River Foulness

The River Foulness is a tributary of the Market Weighton Canal.  The stretch available is on the North bank, near Hasholme Grange farm.  The venue offers some fine early-season tench and bream fishing.
