Burshill B Pond
Burshill B is one of two ponds in the Burshill Fishery part of the Brandesburton Complex. A mature and fairly shallow fishery of about two acres. It is primarily a tench water but does contain roach, rudd, pike and the odd carp. It becomes very weedy in summer. Early morning or evening are the best times for tench fishing and, although they tend not to be caught in large numbers, those that are caught are often of a good size. 5Ib fish are not uncommon and last season a fish of 8Ib 2oz was reported. This is another fishery which has received a major facelift in 2010, all swims have been renewed with an extra swim created, and also a completely new path has been created giving easy access around the venue. Well worth a look if tench are your quarry.
